    Avon's shirt sponsorship with Liverpool FC women's team represents an evolution in female sports marketing

    AVON has penned a deal to sponsor LIVERPOOL FC's ladies team, replacing STANDARD CHARTERED as the brand appearing on the front of the team's kit. The new kits will be revealed as the team face Yeovil Town Ladies on 23 April as part of the Women's Super League Spring Series. It marks the first time a female-focused brand has sponsored a women's professional football club exclusively, rather than the team receiving the same sponsor as their male counterparts.
