    SodaStream launches local ad campaign targeted near stores

    SODASTREAM has launched a campaign that targets consumers near stores its product is stocked in, using SKY's ADSMART technology. The work aims to promote its Genesis sparkling water maker now available in BOOTS. It will run in cinemas and on digital escalator panels near Boots stores as well as on the brand's YOUTUBE channel, and mobile weather, news and games apps. TV ads will also run on Sky TV. The campaign was created by Mosaique Creative & Marketing.

    PepsiCo buys Sodastream for $3.2bn

    PEPSICO has bought SODASTREAM in a deal worth £2.5bn. It hopes that its new acquisition will allow it to reach customers who want to consume soft drinks at home as interest in its staple sugary drinks is declining. The deal is expected to be completed by January 2019.
