    Shop Direct board reshuffle leads to new retail director

    SHOP DIRECT has made several changes to its executive board. Group product director Sam Perkins has been promoted to group retail director, tasking him with leading both the retail and product teams. He replaces Jon Rudoe who is leaving his post as group retail, technology & data director. JM Domaingue has also been named interim chief technology officer while the company searches for a permanent replacement.

    Hearst UK launches digital engagement metric

    HEARST has introduced a new metric to demonstrate the engagement quality of digital branded content. EVR (Engaged View Rate) measures how many times a user views a piece of content for more than 30 seconds and scrolls to 75% or more of the page. This will enable the publisher to give commercial partners in-depth analysis of engagement levels and apply real-time learnings to campaigns. VERY has been the first to benefit from EVR for its 'V by Very' campaign running across Cosmopolitan and Women's Health.
