    Twitter backs Shelter campaign with #DuvetKnowItsChristmas film

    TWITTER is supporting a homeless awareness campaign for SHELTER that encourages people to share their stories of their seasonal sleeping arrangements. Twitter created a two-minute film in-house where writer and musician Rhodri Marsden reads a short poem composed of tweets that have used the hashtag #DuvetKnowItsChristmas over the years. The tweet then links to Shelter's website where people can donate.

    The Academy wins Shelter Christmas campaign

    SHELTER has appointed The Academy to handle its Christmas fundraising campaign following a competitive pitch. Creative director Dan Glover will oversee the account. The charity's Christmas activity will include 'Sleep Walk for Shelter', which will see celebrities brave the cold to walk 10km from London's Liverpool Street to Waterloo to raise awareness of the 135 families who become homeless every day in Britain.
