    'Lorries can't limbo' campaign aims to reduce £23m annual repair and compensation bill

    NETWORK RAIL has revealed a new campaign designed to reduce the annual bill for repairs, compensation, and lost productivity because of lorries driving under low bridges. The campaign, which includes a poster and short film, advises drivers of high-sided vehicles like lorries and HGVs to plan their routes in advance and avoid low bridges, after carrying out research that found more than half of lorry drivers surveyed did not consider the size of their vehicle when planning a journey. Almost half did not know what the size of their vehicle is. The campaign will run until the end of 2018, involving partnerships with TESCO and ROYAL MAIL, and was created by 23RED.
