    ROYAL LONDON is bringing back its time-travelling spokesman, Roy, in its latest TV campaign. The ad will continue until the end of November on a variety of channels including ITV Digital, UKTV and Sky networks. The ad shows Roy as a Victorian gentleman stating that funerals are expensive, but that the company can help with its Over 50s Life Cover. The TV ad was produced in-house at Royal London. VCCP is Royal London’s retained creative agency, while its media planning and buying is handled by MEDIAVEST

    ROYAL LONDON has hired THE LIBERAL DEMOCRAT’s pension’s minister, Steve Webb, for the newly created role of director of policy and external communications. Webb, who will start his role on 9 November, will act as a spokesperson and oversee the public relations and public affairs for Royal London.
