    Facebook launches ad products for video games

    FACEBOOK has created three new advertising solutions for games publishers looking to capitalize on users who might make in-app purchases. The first is a playable ad which will appear in users' Facebook newsfeeds and has already yielded promising results for ROVIO, which beta-tested the product. It saw a 40% saving in costs for acquiring a paying player and a 70% in return on spend. The second gives marketers the opportunity to find lookalike audiences who are more likely to play games, while the second allows advertisers and agencies to set a minimum return on ad spend, thus targeting their ads only at users who are likely to become paying players.

    Rovio Entertainment and Everton kick off World Cup celebrations with new YouTube series

    ROVIO and EVERTON are the latest advertisers to release a World Cup campaign. The entertainment company teamed up with the football club to create an animated series which will air exclusively on YOUTUBE. The first episode in 'Angry Birds: BirLd Cup' aired 9 June, with new episodes due to be released twice a week until 13 July.
