    Refuge "Valentine's Day" by McCann Bristol

    REFUGE has continued its reversible poems campaign, that it first released at Christmas, ahead of Valentine's Day. Created by MCCANN BRISTOL, the poem entitled 'My husband, my lover' reads as the tale of a whirlwind romance, but read backwards reveals the reality of living with domestic abuse.

    Refuge's reversible Christmas poems reveal shocking reality of domestic violence

    REFUGE has launched a clever campaign for the festive season that raises awareness of domestic violence. The ads, running in TV, cinema, press, OOH, social media, and audio formats, feature seasonal poems which read cheerily from top to bottom, but when read backwards reveal a different story - one told by a domestic violence sufferer. It was created pro bono by MCCANN BRISTOL while UM handled media. Press spots include full page ads in WOMAN'S OWN, Marie Claire and BELLA.
