    BT brings parent brand and EE closer still with rejig of top marketing roles

    BT has promoted Pete Jeavons to the role of director of marketing communications for BT's Consumer division and Dan Ramsay to the role of director of multi-brand marketing for BT Consumer. Jeavons will oversee marketing communications, and brand and sponsorship activity across BT and EE, while Ramsay will handle cross-brand projects between BT, EE and PLUSNET. Both will report to managing director of marketing for BT Consumer Pete Oliver. The move will not affect the group's agency relationships. BT and EE will continue to operate as separate brands.
