    Fiat Chrysler and PSA set to enter 50-50 share swap in $50bn merger

    FIAT CHRYSLER and PEUGEOT owner PSA are set to merge in a 50-50 share swap which will see them become the fourth largest automotive company. Fiat Chrysler chairman John Elkann will become chair of the combined group while Peugeot CEO Carlos Tavares will be the new group chief executive.

    Fiat Chrysler and Peugeot owner in merger talks

    FIAT CHRYSLER is in talks with PSA Group, the owner of PEUGEOT, about a possible merger. The combined business would be worth almost £39.9bn. Fiat Chrysler pulled out from a merger with RENAULT earlier this year.
