    Boohoo announces dramatic ewe-turn on wool

    BOOHOO has reversed its decision to ban wool from its products less than 24 hours after announcing the policy. The online fashion retailer announced on Friday it would omit wool from the A/W season onwards after being lobbied by PETA. However, the following day, it announced that it would instead ensure all wool used in its supply chain met high standards of animal welfare.

    PETA buys stake in TUI to protest SeaWorld ties

    PETA is hoping to hold TUI to account over its continued sale of tickets to SEAWORLD attractions by purchasing a stake in the travel operator. SeaWorld has attracted widespread criticism from animal rights activists for its treatment of orcas. PETA plans to use its position as a new shareholder in TUI to pressure the business to stop promoting the attraction to its customers, a feat it has already achieved with THOMAS COOK.
