    Pearson CEO to depart as it sells $675m stake in Penguin Random House

    PEARSON's chief executive John Fallon has announced he will retire in 2020. The announcement comes following the news that Pearson agreed to sell its 25% stake in PENGUIN RANDOM HOUSE to Bertelsmann for £530m ($675m). Fallon will not leave the business until the company has found a replacement.
