    PARK GROUP has announced a surge in savings as a more people are putting money aside for the coming festive season. The Christmas saving club said festive savings rose by 37% to £5.8m this year, while the average amount saved increased by 6.9% to £401. In the six months to 30 September, revenues were 49% higher, at £50.9m. The company encourages consumers to put away regular savings for Christmas and guarantees a minimum of 1% interest.
