    Quorn unveils £1.5m back to school campaign

    QUORN is to kick off a back to school campaign in mid-August, which encourages parents to make healthy family dinners. Running until the end of September, a TV push will focus on two of the meat-substitute brand's core frozen products - chicken nuggets and sausages. The campaign also includes a new addition to it's 'Plate Up' video series, which will feature presenter Ben Fogle speaking to singer Rachel Stevens on reducing meat consumption, plus a partnership with Netmums that will highlight recipe ideas for kids.

    Waitrose adds 50-plus new vegetarian and vegan lines

    WAITROSE is to offer vegans and vegetarians an additional 50 lines from next month. The supermarket will also now have a dedicated vegan section which will be supported by POS material. Launching on 4 June, the range will include new QUORN products as well as those from Dutch meat substitute brand The Vegetarian Butcher, and plant-based wholefood chef duo The Happy Pear.
