    MALAYSIA AIRLINES is to reduce its staff numbers by 6000 following its missing flight in March and plane crash in Ukraine in July. The recovery plan put in place is to cost around 6bn Malaysian ringgit (£1.1bn), with state investment company Khazanah Nasional taking 100% ownership of the airline.

    KETCHUM has helped MALAYSIA AIRLINES with PR for the search for and response to missing plane MH370. The agency was hired on 15 March to provide advice and media support. Aviation expert and head of Ketchum Icon in Singapore, John Bailey, is managing a team of seven employees from its Singapore, New York and London offices.
