    London Eye marks birthday celebrations with themed pods

    THE LONDON EYE is celebrating its 20th birthday with themed pods. Running from 6-9 March, the activation will see 20 pods on the big wheel transformed into experiences such as an English pub, disco and pampering suite. Pod partnerships include those with The Five Points Brewing Co, MADAME TUSSAUDS, Pride, Crosstown Doughnuts and street artist Ben Eine. All proceeds from the event will be donated to charity Merlin's Magic Wand.

    LEGOLAND has appointed Stripe Communications London as its retained PR consultancy. Its scope will include national and regional press-office management, brand campaigns, news hijacking, seasonal event publicity and supporting new developments within the resort. This appointment expands Stripe's relationship with parent company MERLIN ENTERTAINMENTS, as it is already handles the PR for MADAME TUSSAUD'S and THE LONDON EYE
