    L’Oreal experiments with new marketing model to bring men’s grooming brand to Europe

    L'OREAL is launching its men's grooming line Baxter of California in the UK. The cosmetics giant is looking to have regional hubs that represent Europe, US and Asia, while still managing the brand from its LA headquarters, and plans to make several marketing and PR hires to fulfill this ambition. Baxter will be promoted mainly through digital and content marketing, positioning itself as a lifestyle brand rather than a product or within the beauty sector. It will also look to forge relationships with other brands in Europe as it has done so in the US with the likes of Levi's or Bono's Red charity.
