    COVID-19: Levi’s to cut 15% of workforce

    LEVI'S will cut 700 jobs, equating to 15% of its workforce, as it faces the repercussions of the coronavirus pandemic. The brand now has 90% of its stores reopened, however it saw a 62% fall in sales in the most recent quarter.

    Coca-Cola suspends social media advertising despite Facebook changes

    COCA-COLA is suspending advertising on social media globally for at least 30 days in response to the growing calls for online platforms to eradicate hate speech. The move follows the growing momentum of the #StopHateforProfit campaign, which has seen more than 150 advertisers pause advertising on FACEBOOK, believing the social media platform is not doing enough to stop hate speech and disinformation.

    LEVI STRAUSS will also pause advertising on Facebook and accused the social media firm of not going far enough in committing to decisive change.
