    Coca-Cola offers 50% off Merlin attractions via plastic bottle returns

    COCA-COLA and MERLIN ENTERTAINMENTS have partnered to offer 50% off entry prices to Merlin attractions in exchange for used plastic drinks bottles in a bid to encourage recycling. Shoppers can deposit 500ml plastic bottles at on-site vending machines in ALTON TOWERS RESORT, THORPE PARK, CHESSINGTON WORLD OF ADVENTURES and LEGOLAND WINDSOR. The activation follows findings from Coca-Cola that 64% of UK consumers would recycle more often if they received instant rewards.

    McCain launches Dare to Do It on-pack promotion

    MCCAIN has rolled out an on-pack promotion offering 2-for-1 tickets at thousands of entertainment venues. The 'Dare to Do It' promotion aims to encourage families to try new activities by helping to make them more affordable. It runs for 12 weeks from April, printed on seven million packs of products across McCain's frozen range. The campaign is supported by OOH advertising and in-store activation and is being run in partnership with THORPE PARK and LEGOLAND, among others.
