    UK political parties pull out of YouTube after ads run next to extremist videos

    THE LABOUR PARTY has pulled ads from YOUTUBE after ads appeared next to videos that promoted Islamic extremism. THE CONSERVATIVES and LIBERAL DEMOCRATS have done likewise. The incidents come after the issue was first reported in February which caused a number of advertisers to pull spend from YouTube.

    Labour Party meets Trevor Beattie

    THE LABOUR PARTY has reportedly been in talks with Trevor Beattie, chairman of BMB, on whether he and the agency can work on social media activity for the party in the final stages of its general election campaigning.
