    Asics inks KLM partnership to show 'power of running' to frequent travellers

    ASICS has partnered with KLM to offer 30,000 employees and frequent travellers the chance to discover the mental and physical benefits of running for themselves. The scheme is part of KLM's Vitality programme and will provide access to running events, training and footwear including the Asics KLM100, a shoe celebrating the airline's 100th birthday. Participants will also have access to Asics' Runkeeper app to help keep the pace.

    KLM asks people to 'fly responsibly' in marketing push

    KLM has launched an 80-second film encouraging people to 'fly responsibility'. The ad takes the viewer through a history of flying, before outlining how the airline is planning for the future of aviation. The campaign, created by DDB Unlimited, will run in press and online. Press work, appearing in titles such as THE SUNDAY TIMES and THE GUARDIAN in the UK, will be in the form of an open letter from the airline's chief executive Pieter Elbers. The work aims to bring together the aviation industry and passengers to make a real difference to the sustainability of the planet.
