    John Lewis, Tesco, Asos and Burberry recognised in inaugural Pinterest awards for brands

    JOHN LEWIS has won four awards at the inaugural Pinnacle Awards, Pinterest's awards for brands. The brand's 'Make it Thoughtful' campaign by ADAM & EVE/DDB and MANNING GOTTLIEB OMD won the community choice award, voted for by Pinterest users; best single idea; best integration; and the Pinnacle Award for "Do" – recognising the campaign most likely to prompt consumer action. Other winners included TESCO, ASOS and BURBERRY.

    John Lewis appoints Eagle Eye to digital marketing brief

    JOHN LEWIS has appointed Eagle Eye to handle its digital customer marketing. The agency recently launched Smart Scanner in collaboration with mobile marketing and commerce provider Weve, which enables advertisers to send text messages to customers with a link to a digital coupon that can be scanned straight from a mobile phone.
