    Kenco picks Karmarama as lead creative agency

    KENCO has awarded its £10m creative account to KARMARAMA following a competitive pitch. The agency beat SAATCHI & SAATCHI and VCCP in a three-way pitch and the account moves from J WALTER THOMPSON. Karmarama will be responsible for all above-the-line, multi-channel advertising and will build the long-term strategy and integrated communications for the brand.

    Carte Noire instant coffee returns after two-year hiatus

    LAVAZZA has brought back the Carte Noire brand two years after previous owner JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS retired it. Lavazza acquired the brand after Douwe Egberts' merger with MONDELEZ' coffee division forced it to be sold off. The brand returns with a smoother, more rounded flavour in new-look jars and refill packs, supported by a £3m marketing push included digital and TV activity.
