    ISLE OF MAN GOVERNMENT's chief minister, Tony Brown, has backed the islands' retained public affairs agency, following a survey implying residents would like to see more of a focus on lobbying. A survey reviewed the strength of local politician and civil servant ties to those at the top of UK Government. The research found that 60% wanted 'a well-connected, professional lobbying firm to put forward the island's perspective to UK politicians and senior civil servants'.
