    After Rang-tan, Iceland's Christmas ad embraces Disney's Frozen 2

    ICELAND is playing it safe with its 2019 Christmas ad by partnering with DISNEY's Frozen 2. After last year's Rang-tan ad was blocked from appearing on TV, the new ad aims to showcase the 'Magic of Frozen'; both the goods it sells and the forthcoming sequel. Disney's in-house agency and Walt Disney Animation Studios created the 40-second spot which shows a family and the characters from Frozen playing charades, celebrating their favourite things about Christmas. The ad debuted on 1 November on ITV and will be followed up with a series of shorter spots. It will be supported by press and OOH executions.

    Iceland shakes up own-brand frozen food range

    ICELAND is undertaking a big shake-up of its own-brand range by adding 550 new and improved products that will launch this week. This is in response to the growing demand for frozen food and analysis of social media, market trends and sales analysis. It is aiming to be the first line to be compromised directly from consumer feedback.
