    House of Fraser looks to the 80s for Christmas ad inspiration

    HOUSE OF FRASER has released its fun Christmas ad which plays the festive antics of two young sisters in the 80s alongside their older counterparts in 2017. The spot, created by 18 FEET & RISING, is set to the song 'Who Took the Merry Out of Christmas' by the The Staple Singers and hopes to encourage adults to enjoy the festive season in a happy, childlike manner. GOODSTUFF is handling media for the campaign which will debut during ITV's The X Factor on 12 November and be supported by digital and cinema activity. ACTION FOR CHILDREN will also feature in the campaign's social content.

    House of Fraser scraps chief customer officer role as David Walmsley departs after just one year

    HOUSE OF FRASER's chief customer officer David Walmsley has left the business. The retailer has appointed DODDLE's Paddy Earnshaw to replace him in the role of chief marketing officer, scrapping the CCO position. Earnshaw joins on 30 October.
