    Department for Business leads on Government's flagship minimum wage campaign

    DEPARTMENT FOR BUSINESS, ENERGY & INDUSTRIAL STRATEGY has rolled out a new campaign targeted at minimum wage workers to ensure they know what they are entitled to, following the increases in the national and minimum wage on 1 April. Posters, short films, and radio and online advertising featuring the 'A step up in pay' slogan will run until the end of October. The campaign comes just after HMRC announced that £15.6m was found to be owed in pay to more than 200,000 workers in 2017-18, with apprentices particularly likely to be underpaid.
