    Gumtree cuts digital spend on brand campaign

    GUMTREE has launched a new campaign entitled 'Make it happen'. The 30-second spot sees an expecting couple looking at items on Gumtree online which then appear in their home. The spot shows that the items the couple need change over the course of their child's growth, and when they are no longer needed, they use Gumtree to post them for sale. The work, which will run on TV and VOD having already launched on outdoor and radio, was created by FOLD7, with media handled by THE7STARS. It will also run on some digital and paid for social, however, despite Gumtree increasing its overall digital spend, including on ads to drive app downloads, it is cutting its spend on digital brand advertising.
