    Evening Standard launches month-long food festival

    THE LONDON EVENING STANDARD is launching a month-long food festival. London Evening Standard Food Month, billed as the UK's biggest food festival, will take place between 1 and 30 June and is being sponsored by WESTFIELD, COBRA and FORTNUM & MASON. The event will promote awareness of food waste and hunger while offering a range of dining options.

    FORTNUM & MASON has allowed DISNEY to take over its window display in order to promote the cinematic launch of Alice Through the Looking Glass. Window shoppers will see oversized chess pieces, butterflies and huge cups of tea gracing the windows until July. The whimsical display is the first take over in the store’s 309-year history.
