    Direct Line turns to augmented reality for 'Emergency plumber' campaign

    DIRECT LINE's latest campaign uses augmented reality to engage commuters at King's Cross station. The immersive experience is aimed to demonstrate the damage which water can have on a home, and point consumers towards Direct Line's home insurance policy, which promises an emergency plumber within three hours. The campaign was created in conjunction with AR specialists 3RockAR.

    Direct Line for Business snatches Claire Sadler from BT

    DIRECT LINE FOR BUSINESS has appointed BT's group brand director Claire Sadler to the role of marketing director. At Direct Line, she will oversee all marketing activity including the next phase of the 'Winston Wolf' campaign. She will also lead the brand's new personalised SME propositions following its first launch into the hair and beauty sector.
