    Saatchi & Saatchi creates 'The Emergency Hotel TVC' for Direct Line

    DIRECT LINE’s latest campaign will show the insurer proposing to find customers a suitable hotel within one hour, should their home be left uninhabitable after a house fire. ‘The Emergency Hotel TVC’, created by SAATCHI & SAATCHI features a 30-second ad that will debut on TV on 16 June. The campaign will also run across radio, social and digital, with the digital including a real-time digital fire display. Direct Line’s in-house team will bring to life the threat posed by house fires by using FACEBOOK 360 and animated infographics.

    Direct Line hires two new consumer agencies after parting ways with Unity

    DIRECT LINE has named MISCHIEF PR and Talker Tailor Trouble Maker to handle consumer PR. The insurance provider previously worked with UNITY, but the agency did not repitch for the account. Mischief will lead PR and creative for a forthcoming campaign while Talker Tailor Trouble Maker will handle PR for Fleetlights, a new prototype service which will bring modern street lights to dark streets.
