    Direct Line for Business snatches Claire Sadler from BT

    DIRECT LINE FOR BUSINESS has appointed BT's group brand director Claire Sadler to the role of marketing director. At Direct Line, she will oversee all marketing activity including the next phase of the 'Winston Wolf' campaign. She will also lead the brand's new personalised SME propositions following its first launch into the hair and beauty sector.

    Direct Line looks to make roads safer with first smart pedestrian crossing

    DIRECT LINE and creative agency SAATCHI & SAATCHI believe they can make the roads safer again by modernising the traditional pedestrian crossing. The insurance company has created a ‘smart’ crossing, which has the ability to widen, narrow, appear and disappear. The futuristic crossing currently has three modes provided for large groups, cyclists who may not be able to see past a high sided vehicle and individuals in a traditional crossing sense. The project’s design agency is Umbrellium.
