    Mondelez makes marketing appointments

    MONDELEZ has appointed DANONE's Martin Renaud to the position of global chief marketing officer. He takes over from Dana Anderson who left the business last May. The confectionery giant has also hired AB INBEV's Debora Koyama to the role of regional chief marketing officer for Europe.

    Actimel cuts sugar from zero fat yogurts

    ACTIMEL will now contain 0% fat and 0% sugar in a new recipe from the Danone brand. Available in Original, Multifruit, Raspberry and Strawberry variants, the 8-pack products aim to appeal to the growing 'health-conscious consumer' market. The launch will be supported by a £1.2m marketing investment including TV, digital, print and in-store activity. TV work will roll out from 16 April.
