    COVID-19: Sainsbury’s coronavirus charity appeal passes £3m mark

    SAINSBURY'S has raised £1.5m for COMIC RELIEF and CHILDREN IN NEED through donations from customers of ARGOS, HABITAT and Nectar. The donations will support people effected by the coronavirus crisis. The retailers will double the amounted raised on 1 May when the appeal ends. Shoppers have been encouraged to round up the price of their basket to include a donation or to donate their Nectar points.
