    Citroën shifts global ad account into BETC

    CITROEN has awarded its global advertising account to BETC Paris, who will create a specialist unit called Traction to service the account. After a review Citroen decided to move the business from Les Gaulois. The account will cover 100 countries around the world. Traction is hoping to make Citroen a world-class brand and is aiming to improve its image by becoming the pop culture player it used to be.

    MediaCom scoops €875m media account for Peugeot-Citroen owner PSA Group

    MEDIACOM has won the estimated £773m global media account for PEUGEOT and CITROEN owner PSA Group. MediaCom is said to have fended off ZENITH in a final run-off, having seen off competition from two incumbents OMD and HAVAS. The account was originally thought to be worth £500m, however, PSA spends £773m annually on media according to Recma estimates.
