    CHEVROLET has decided to build awareness of its recent tie-up with MANCHESTER UNITED through participation in local community projects. The deal, which kicked off at the weekend (16 August), with the car marque’s name on the team’s shirts, will ‘put cause-related marketing front and centre of the effort’, as Chevrolet believes customers are more willing ‘to pay for brands with a purpose’. The brand is to now create football programs that ‘positively impact deprived children’.
