    Chanel reveal new fragrance launch

    CHANEL is set to launch its first fragrance in 15 years. Entitled 'Gabrielle', the perfume is intended to represent the label's founder before she took on the persona of Coco. It will be available online and in boutiques from June with a wider launch to follow.

    CHANEL has chosen RAINEY KELLY CAMPBELL ROALFE/Y&R to be its first global ad agency following a competitive pitch. J WALTER THOMPSON and OGILVY & MATHER also pitched. The fashion label had previously created its global advertising in-house. The first work from the new agency will focus on the No 5 fragrance and is expected to roll out in September.
