    Castrol "Ex-traffic" by Hoot Comedy

    CASTROL has released a new ad with the help of agency Hoot Comedy to promote its Castrol Magnatec Stop-Start car oil. The humorous 45-second spot sees a cab driver become stuck in the unfortunate circumstance of being held up in a traffic jam surrounding by three ex-girlfriend’s cars. As part of a wider campaign under the hashtag #StopStartMoments, the ad will be supported by outdoor, digital, PR and social media activity. Media was handled by MINDSHARE.

    CASTROL is reportedly readying itself to end its five-year relationship with football, following the World Cup this summer. The announcement follows a review of its sponsorship strategy. It was concluded that the oil company’s strategies to drive awareness in emerging markets, about recent World and European Cups, was were not successful.
