    VISITBRITAIN has unveiled a new £3m ‘Countryside is GREAT’ campaign. The three-year project aims to increase the attractiveness of the British countryside for international tourists, as well as to increase spend across the country. It will run in partnership with third party supporters – including The National Parks, The Forestry Commission, The CANAL AND RIVER TRUST, HERTZ CARS and the national tourist boards – in a move to showcase the countryside as a modern culture with world-class accommodation and top quality food. The campaign will feature 'curated countryside itineraries, experiences, services, and packages on ‘The Countryside Collection’ website and print media'.
