    National Lottery switches focus to good causes with homeless haircuts ad

    NATIONAL LOTTERY has unveiled the second stage of its 'Amazing starts here' campaign with an ad featuring haircuts for homeless people. The spot focuses on a local hairdressers who offers homeless people free haircuts and ends with copy explaining that buying national lottery tickets supports causes like it. ADAM&EVE/DDB created the 60-second TV ad which launched on ITV. It will be supported by radio, social and press advertising promoting other good causes.

    National Lottery to highlight grassroots funding for 25th anniversary campaign

    NATIONAL LOTTERY is set to celebrate its 25th anniversary next year with a campaign which draws attention to its work with the grassroots. It is hoping to better connect with local people. The campaign will be led in-house, although the brand indicated that it may bring in an external PR agency to support it, and will include stories of lives changed by the lottery. It launches next summer.
