    BT combines robots and cake for coding experience

    BT has launched 'Code a cake', a campaign to teach parents and children to control a robot-staffed bakery through the art of coding. Created by ANALOGFOLK, the experience aims to drive awareness of the brand ambition with a broad audience. Coding is divided into three sections - sequencing, variables and repetition, that correspond to baking tasks in the form of colourful blocks of code. Users can customer theme of the their cakes, with options including a llama piñata, outer space and robots. The campaign launched on 2 April and will run until early May. ESSENCE handled media.

    COVID-19: UK telecoms unite for ‘Stay Connected’ lockdown campaign

    BTSKYO2, VODAFONE and VIRGIN MEDIA have launched a united national public information campaign to educate the public on how to manage a surge in home internet and mobile phone usage. The campaign issues seven tips to minimise the load on overstretched networks. The work is to run across a range of digital and social media channels as well as direct communications to their combined customer base.
