    Boots takes us through decades past in nostalgic Christmas campaign

    BOOTS has launched a nostalgic Christmas campaign created by OGILVY. The ad tells the story of two real-life sisters over four decades as they exchange gifts, set to a re-recorded version of Yazoo's 1982 hit 'Only You'. It launched during ITV's The X Factor promoting the idea that a single gift can show someone you truly know them. Items including Seventeen Parma Violet Nail Polish and Natural Collection Banana Moisturising Cream Bath make an appearance, products that correlate with what was popular at the time. Boots is encouraging people to tell their gifting stories and share pictures under the hashtag #ShowThemYouKnowThem this Christmas.

    Public Health England encourages brisk walking with digital outdoor ads

    PUBLIC HEALTH ENGLAND has launched an interactive campaign as part of its 'One You' physical activity initiative. Created by 23RED, the campaign features a wi-fi enabled large format ad screen which rewards adults who walk briskly from the screen to a BOOTS store with a free Shapers Meal Deal. By downloading PHE's One You App, people can access the route to a participating Boots store and a voucher to redeem the free lunch if they make it there within ten minutes. The activity will run across full motion screens in Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham city centres. Pictures of participants who use the #Active10 hashtag will also be shown on the screens.
