    Ocean Outdoor rolls out Birmingham’s biggest ever digital out-of-home roadside network

    OCEAN OUTDOOR has partnered with BIRMINGHAM CITY COUNCIL to roll out a state-of-the-art digital network across main city arterial and commuter routes throughout Birmingham. A total of 130 roadside digital six-sheet screens will replace existing outdoor locations on key arterials across the city and outer suburbs including New John Street, Suffolk Street and Queensway. They will be a mixture of single and double sided 75-inch screens and is being managed by SAMSUNG UK in association with Esprit Digital. The screens will be operational from the summer.

    BIRMINGHAM CITY COUNCIL has announced that it is to further cut jobs, by 1,000 positions. The move follows budget cuts, with the only area not to be affected being the children's services department. The council is aiming to save £840m by 2017.
