    Benetton backlash over boys only children’s clothing ad

    BENETTON has drawn criticism from parents for an advertising caption that was perceived to be excluding girls from wearing its clothes. Promoting its SS17 collection, an Instagram picture of three boys featured the caption: ‘Sorry ladies. Girls not allowed!’ Benetton subsequently issued an Instagram apology outlining its intentions for the post not to be offensive.

    United Colors of Benetton’s new focus on Italian roots

    UNITED COLORS OF BENETTON has released a new jumper based on its very first design in order to cement its new focus on fashion. The jumper is made in the brand’s headquarters in Treviso, Italy and named TV31100 after the postcode of the city. The jumper is manufactured with a single thread making it totally seamless. The brand will make use of digital to market the product.
