    COVID-19: DPD and B&Q owner to hire 7,500 as demand surges

    DPD and B&Q owner Kingfisher have announced they will hire 7,500 people across driver and support roles to help cope with the demand for deliveries created by the coronavirus crisis. The new recruits will be temporary during the summer.

    COVID-19: B&Q reopens stores closed amid lockdown

    B&Q has reopened 61 UK stores although lockdown measures remain in place. Since the stores closed at the end of March, B&Q has been offering a click and collect service for customers. In the newly reopened stores, perspex screens will be installed at checkouts and two-metre floor markers will indicate the distance shoppers should remain from each other.
