    AMERICAN AIRLINES has been targetting an affluent and professional audience around Canary Wharf this week with a pop up transatlantic sports lounge that teaches them about American football. People were greeted by flight attendants and invited to visit the pop-up to try out gourmet drinking and dining, and luxury private booths. The campaign was created by Hello London, the media partnership between Exterion Media and TRANSPORT FOR LONDON, and creative agency CRISPIN PORTER & BOGUSKY, as well as media agency MEDIACOM. Activity will run until 5 October.

    American Airlines and MediaCom debut geofencing in motion ad campaign


    AMERCIAN AIRLINES and MEDIACOM have joined forces to broadcast ads to pedestrians via London’s black cabs.

    Mediacom developed the technology with taxi ad specialist Ubiquitous which has wrapped 85 black cabs in American Airlines branding and kitted them out with GPS and RFID-powered kits.

    It follows research by Ubiquitous that shows that taxis tend to concentrate in those areas populated by American Airlines’ target audience of ABC1s.The campaign starts this week and will run until the beginning of November.
