    ABERDEEN CITY COUNCIL is to include comments published on social media as under the scope of its staff disciplinary code of conduct, meaning employees could be fired if they make offensive or derogatory remarks about, work, colleagues or council policy there.

    ABERDEEN CITY COUNCIL has reprimanded four staff for complaining about colleagues and managers on Facebook. An e-mail has now gone out to staff warning them of the consequences of irresponsible online behaviour.
